Setup & Teardown Processes

General Guidelines

Minimum 3-person team ideally starts by 8:00 AM for efficient setup.
All gear should be transported carefully and organised in designated areas (left and right stage, mixer area).
Communication and teamwork are key—volunteers should assist each other as tasks progress.

Setup Process Overview

Step 1: Gear Transport & Initial Positioning

1-2 persons move black boxes, mesh bags, stands, and key gear to the venue floor.
Left side: Keyboard equipment, instrument cables, mic stands.
Right side: Stage boxes, drum kits (if early), drum shield, mic and utility boxes.

Step 2: Stage Setup

Person 1 (Left side): Sets keyboards, keyboard seats, connects XLR and DI boxes, places P16 stands, assists patching (supervised).
Person 2 (Right side): Charges batteries, sets stage box and wireless mics, connects FOH and subs, runs power and XLR cables to monitors.
Person 3 (Mixer & Delays): Uses lift for mixer setup, positions and powers delays, sets mixer on table, runs power and CAT5 cables, manages cable routing.
